Your everyday life

What would a good day here look like for me? Can I choose routines, meals, activities and time alone? Can friends, family and pets visit? What are the rules?

People and support

Who is on site during the day and overnight? How do I request help, and how are unanswered requests escalated? What happens when a resident’s needs change?

The specific room and setting

Can I see the room being offered, including bathroom access? How do you accommodate mobility, communication and sensory needs? How are emergency planning and evacuation handled?

The agreement and cost

Please provide an itemized quote and sample agreement. Which fees can change, and how much notice is given? What are the rules for deposits, refunds, hospital stays and leaving?

Accountability

What is the exact licensed name and address? Where can I review current inspection information? How can a resident raise a concern without fear of retaliation?

After the visit.

What felt comfortable? What needs a clearer answer? Compare notes, keep written quotes, and revisit anything that matters to the resident. You can take more time, ask for another visit or decide a different type of support deserves a look.
